By accessing or using the IceBreaker mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Use of the Service constitutes your informed consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and consistent with your right to privacy under Article III, Section 3 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.

IceBreaker is an event networking platform that enables verified attendees to voluntarily exchange professional contact information through mutual QR-based digital identity scanning.

Features may include:

• Event registration and check-in
• Attendee networking
• Digital profiles
• Exhibitor discovery
• Event schedules
• Engagement and gamification tools
• Notifications and announcements

Users must:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain account confidentiality
• Use one account per individual
• Not share login credentials

BoxHive reserves the right to suspend accounts used fraudulently or in violation of applicable Philippine laws.

Users shall not:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Collect personal data without consent
• Impersonate another individual
• Upload malicious software
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Manipulate engagement features

Users retain ownership of personal data submitted through the Service.

By voluntarily engaging in mutual QR-based networking, you authorize BoxHive to process shared information solely for:

• Facilitating attendee connections
• Event analytics and reporting
• Platform functionality and improvement

Processing shall comply with RA 10173 and applicable National Privacy Commission regulations.

All platform software, branding, and networking systems remain the property of BoxHive Digital Solutions Co.

Event organizers using IceBreaker agree to:

• Process attendee data lawfully
• Implement reasonable security safeguards
• Use collected data solely for event-related purposes
• Respond to legitimate data subject requests

Certain features may require payment in accordance with:

• RA 8792 (E-Commerce Act)
• RA 7394 (Consumer Act)

IceBreaker may integrate with third-party systems such as organizer dashboards or sponsor portals.

Personal data shall only be shared with authorized providers:

• With user consent;
• As necessary for event participation; or
• As permitted by law.

To the extent permitted by law, BoxHive shall not be liable for indirect damages arising from:

• Use of the Service
• Attendee interactions
• Organizer actions

Accounts may be suspended for violations of these Terms. Users may request account deletion subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

BoxHive may update these Terms with prior notice through the platform.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Quezon City, Philippines.
